Taking it one day at a time is my strategy as well. I originally set out to do 40 days, but I think 30 is safer and more realistic, assuming I do not experience true hunger before that time. It's good to hear you can mostly rest. I too am mostly resting and doing my best to keep my activity level low; however, there have been exceptions to this, and I know a couple days this week I will be out and about. It's amazing how much the simple act of driving can take it out of you during a fast! Please be careful with the stairs! I know I move very slowly throughout all my movements, and stairs take extra caution. If I get up too quickly, I do black-out, so it's a constant mindfulness practice with moving :)
