Thanks for clarifying. I am currently reading three books on fasting, and listening to lectures as well. I like to be well-researched when I undertake any significant endeavor. I've found that most people have different recommendations based on the intent of the fast. It seems like everyone has their own perspective about what is and what isn't allowed and acceptable. I'm excited to dig into Shelton's perspective as well. I appreciate your guidance, and have naturally gravitated towards pure water only anyways. The body is the truest guide!
