Re: Water fasting for poss. rheumatoid arthritis

So my question is, how long should I keep this up? I went in open-ended just to see what would happen, and honestly I expected to see more reduction of swelling sooner. (I had the impression from some things I had read that symptoms pretty much disappeared during the fast and that the hard part was keeping them away once the fast ended).

I had read this article: https://www.nutritionalresearch.org/sites/ntr.civicactions.net/files/research/autoimmune-waterfasting.pdf

and the minimum number of days fasted for RA from these few case studies was 12 days. But today is day 9 - and the swelling is still present. Is it possible it could go away in just a few days if it hasn't already?

I am at 108.2 lbs today (down from 122). I think I can only afford to lose about 4 more lbs if I want to have a sort of healthy BMI. I probably haven't weighed this little since I was a young teenager.

What do you think? Advice?
