Re: Water fasting for poss. rheumatoid arthritis

DAY 1 (6/27)

Pretty uneventful. I was not really hungry. Drank about a half gallon of distilled water. Found out mid-way through the day that you are not supposed to use toothpaste. Oops.

I spent most of the day decluttering and not exerting myself too much. Joints were still swollen and painful, but not like on the 25th. It hurt my outer finger joints to type. Foot pain was present.

DAY 2 (6/28)

Also uneventful. Good thing lack of appetite is a symptom of RA (not that it's absolutely certain I have that, but the doc seemed pretty sure). I slept a lot and wasn't really too bothered by thinking about food until the evening.

My joints today are still swollen, but slightly less-so, especially the left hand (which for me is always less bad anyway). I was able to do basic tasks like locking doors without much pain. Foot pain is still there, but not very bad.
