This is kind of along the lines of what I am thinking.

The Iodine didn't necessarily cause it. But, it didn't protect against it either.

I was under the impression from Dr. Abraham's papers that it would protect against it. Perhaps I misinterpreted his studies, or perhaps there are cases in which Iodine isn't enough to stop it.

As a biochem major up here at Michigan, perhaps I will be able to do research into this and shed some light on it in the future. Iodine will certainly be something I study in my career.
