Re: Just diagnosed with Hashimoto. Now what?

100mg isnt high iodine.

a ciaoogle query produced this at the top:

These include:

Genes. Some people are prone to Hashimoto's disease because of their genes. ...
Gender. ...
Pregnancy. ...
Too much Iodine and some drugs may trigger the onset of thyroid disease in people prone to getting it.
Radiation exposure has been shown to bring on autoimmune thyroid disease.

Hashimoto's disease fact sheet | womenshealth.gov
https://www.womenshealth.gov/publications/our.../hashimoto-disease.html

i would scratch genes. they perform according to the environment.

both women and pregnancy are Iodine hogs, thus less Iodine for the thyroid and more bad halogens having easy empty seats there.

there is no such thing as too much iodine. there is such a thing as too little iodine, even at so-called high doses.

radiation would be a similar damage as fluorine and bromine.

the above statements of mine are true so the exact cause of hashimotos and the cure for it have to match those statements.

seems to me dr mark starr had something to say about all of this, though i didnt vet his work. he has a book, i think.

my gut says that you have a good immune system and you tickled the dragon in your thyroid enough to stir up the bad guys. lack of other nutrition is also possible. along with the usual suspects we talk about, potassium has to be huge and definitely severely lacking in most people. it seems like iodine in that a little lets you survive but a lot lets you thrive.

this guy gets about 8-10 grams of potassium in his roots and monkey meat. he is 60.

45-50 minute mark, but its all good.
