Re: Just diagnosed with Hashimoto. Now what?

Hello Lexi, Hashimoto is an auto-immune or xeno-immune (probably bacteria coming from intestins) and this inflammation can destroy the cells of thyroid rather quickly.

You said you are on paleo diet, no dairy, but are you absolutely certain you are 100% free of gluten ?

It is essentiel to be if you want to diminish the antibodies against your thyroid - no gluten, no caseine.

Absolutely NO GRAMINÉS !

There is a link between L-Tyrosine necessary to produce the hormone Thyroxine (T4) and gluten molucule or various different glutens, so Tyrosine is blocked and cannot produce the hormone, it is also missing for the synthesis of neuromediators like Dopamine and catecholamines.

Maybe curcumine might also help to reduce the inflammation.
