i honestly dont think of it as giving up at all. i have no pride about fasting and i dont set a definite timeline so i am not going to make any commitment to a certain number of days. honestly i am just really really happy to have gone 15 days(coming up on 16 in a few hours). it just seems like the there isn't much benefit when i am staying up until 4am releasing such high amounts of cortisol into my body; it seems counterproductive to my fast.
