Ed, come on, people do not have a relationship with their Bibles. This play on words is ridiculous. God does speak today to people directly, but people have to test that direct word to make sure it lines up with the Bible to see if it really was God speaking. God has commanded us to test the spirits. He has given us His word in the Bible as our standard.

This marriage example of love letters that you give can lead to cults being formed from whatever people think God is speaking directly to them. Who ever started this crazy teaching is really off so I wish you would stop spreading it. A lot of people think God spoke to them directly when He did not as in her marriage example, but God still really does speak to people directly. I doubt that she has ever even experienced that direct voice from God. Yes, I too see error with this lady's theology.

She admits she can still speak in tongues supernaturally. I wonder if she thinks a demon is following her around so that if ever she decides to test this, the demon will give her this ability. That can't bring her much peace and joy. I think this lady is so confused that she has not even thought that out. This lady really sounds like she loves the Lord in spite of her confused state. My guess is that she has the real gift of tongues from the Holy Spirit, but I would have no way of knowing for sure. Yes, it is sad that the church she goes to now also has false teaching and has added to her confusion. It does sound like they may have helped her in other ways. Who knows?
