Dr. Wilson has great directions on his site and different options. I have used my coffee maker, using organic dark or medium roast coffee. I do 1 tablespoon to 1 cup of H2O, but I started out weaker than that to make sure I could handle it. I easily went up to the ratios I am using now. I do 8 cups of water at a time and use 2 cups for each session and refrigerate the rest. Since my energy when starting on this was very poor, that made it easier. I didn't have to wash my coffee maker parts every night. I don't think you need to stress on how you make it...do what works best for you. But I would buy organic coffee. I use filtered water.
