Re: New here and need advice

I retest every 6 months and pay $150 which includes the test and Dr. McHaney's advice/insights. He sends me a copy of the test with a list of recommended supplements and a CD going over the tests. I am free to call or email him with ?'s whenever I wish to. He is super available. Maybe if I called him weekly, he would set limits, but I don't contact him that often. He himself made tremendous strides with NB. Was diagnosed with Juvenile RA, put on steroids, told he wouldn't live past 30, etc. NB totally turned his health around.

I am doing enemas and using a single watt red bulb as a make-shift sauna. I shine it on my stomach/liver area for 20 minutes, flip over to my back for 10-15. It seems to make a difference.

I don't think those different descriptions of TEI and ARL are accurate. Again, I can only speak for ARL. Balancing takes place...for some of us who have lots of toxic stuff, whether it shows up on the first test like my copper of over 9 (ideal is 2.5), or it's hidden metals, when they start coming out, you feel worse before you feel better. And that is something you need to be willing to go through. In my case, I felt worse for a long time before feeling better. And I still have some lousy days. But it's all worth it in the end!!

Lastly, I agree with what Onwards just wrote. Animal protein is necessary for getting well. You may have to build up to it slowly, but your body really needs it.
