Re: Quick question about diet (grains)

In my opinion, heritage grains are extremely nutritious and can be used in varying amounts depending on the individual. Any grain product that you can buy in a grocery store is toxic waste and should not be consumed by anyone at any time. Amaranth is extremely nutritious, possibly one of the best grains, quinoa is also good. Many people can do well with heritage wheat varieties such as Kamut. Personally, I also do well with Lundberg white basmati rice but that probably isn't for everyone. I get serious health issues if I don't have enough carbohydrates in my diet and I have no desire to become a fruitarian, as I don't feel this is a health diet either, but I do eat a certain amount of fruit. For myself and I'm sure many others, grains are a great source of energy and health.
