Re: Most Paleo gurus are chubby & sell tons of supps
That death was recent and I was unaware of it. There was apparently another one that happened earlier one.
Graham's mentor was also a charlatan who did not live very long. I will put him in the
Andreas Moritz category of people who make life sound so simple, but then for some reason they die early.
the 30-bananas people are overtly crazy. Some of them have a lot of energy from their constant
Sugar high. The founders openly admitted that they were both anorexic, so maybe they attract birds of a feather, who knows.
There was one girl who had a serious parasitic infection and got better on yogurt and
Antibiotics and she was close to being banned for that. And that was before she was even on their site! They run an umm err extremely tight ship over there (translation: borderline fascist censorship)
So consider yourself lucky that you can post dissenting opinions here on curezone because the banana boat people do not tolerate any dissent whatsoever. Does that sound like a healthy psyche?
And this is not even mentioning the fact that natway is mixing and matching as he goes along. I already pointed out that he completely misquoted Dr. Furhman about fat intake, so then he pivoted over to the banana boat people.
And this is also notwithstanding the fact that 'Dr' Graham readily admits that the diet is just a diet and not a cure for illnesses. He often refers people to real doctors to take care of their illness.
At some point the banana boat people will either directly or indirectly cause a death or a serious incident like diabetic coma.
Now if someone feels so strongly that eating 30 bananas a day will cure every known illness and they constantly harass people on the internet I think they should open up an escrow account, dump all of their assets into it and freely give it away to the family of the person who will be harmed. THEN, I'll take them seriously.
Graham's note sounds like the old surgeon's joke:
Man: How did the operation go?
Doctor: Well, the operation was a complete success, but we lost the patient.
