Re: Get a home glucose meter to double check

There is something wrong with your meter. At a BSL of 35 you would be passed out and unconcious, unable to test. The lowest I've ever physically been able to test was 45 and it was nearly impossible because I was shaking so bad, on the floor, and unable to move. I think you need a new meter or at least have it calibrated. I did have reactive hypoglycemia for many years. On cue, 2 hours after eating, crash. For hypo you need to eat a combo of protien and fat, low carb, but not sure you have hypo.

Do you consume any artificial sweetner (diet soda, low fat/low cal foods, any brand of gum, teas, etc...)? Make sure you are not consuming aspartame.
