I'm glad my response helped. :-) I just have so much info floating around in my brain, it's hard to give a normally written response without writing a book! lol
I've been studying since 2007, my story is rather long... Involves wisdom teeth being removed, 2 rounds Antibiotics , serious lung infection that was candida.. Trying SO MANY 'health diets' and protocols.. A desmoid tumor in my leg that ended up getting worse and landed me in a wheelchair for 2 1/2 years..(finally got out December 12 2010) Hormones freaking out.. Endocrine system freaking out (thyroid/adrenals) and all kinds of crazy healing crisis stuff and what-not.
That's the serious nut-shell version. I'm doing TONS better now. But still have some more work to do.. (physical therapy stuff with my leg.. Working on dissolving the desmoid tumor with whatever I can throw at it.. Right now, systemic enzymes. Getting over being tired and still messing around with diet stuff.. Once I'm all better, I'm looking forward to working on getting really strong, learning even more on herbs & wild edibles... And garden alot more. My endurance is still not up to where I would like it to be, I have to be careful on how many demands I put on my body... But I am able to do ALMOST anything I'd like now, which is awesome.)
First off, diet wise. Stop all soy (including the aminos your having) stop doing flaxseed oil. (both VERY estrogenic)
thanks to my awesome doctor, I've been reading up on systemic enzymes. Estrogen is very connected to 'fibrin'.. Here's the link that my doctor sent me:
^^ threelac is one thing I would say to not worry about the ingredients. Because it's a total life saver.. Even though it has canola oil.. lol
ALSO, raspberries are totally safe to have on the candida diet, they have allegic acid, which kills candida.. GREAT to know when you can't have sweet..
Also, 'yacon syrup' & 'jerusalem artichoke' syrup are safe to have.
Coconut Sugar kinda safe too, but not 100%.. I'd only try it once you get things more under control.
Avoid agave.
START 'salmon oil' or 'krill oil'.. If you have any inflammatory conditions, do krill. If not, do salmon. DO NOT do 'cod liver oil' (I can't digest cod liver oil and it tastes horrible)
Salmon oil & krill digest better, so no 'fish burps' or horrible taste.
Flax is not the same omega 3s as animal based. (salmon, krill.. Ect) it actually has to get converted into the animal based kind in order to be used.. And the body has a hard time converting it.
RE: the green powder you take. HOLY COW, that's alot of ingredients. lol. I'm mildly paranoid about taking alot of things at once.. Because I like taking single items and know how each one effects me.. In a product that has so many ingredients, you never know what's bugging... It could be making you detox. It is good to take a few days off it every once and awhile. So DO NOT feel bad if you feel like skipping it. Just listen to your body, it will tell you when it wants it again.
In the past I was completely caffeine intollerate.. (totally wacked out my system) I can have chocolate now., but avoid caffeine (or theobromine) in any other form.
coffee enemas are suppose to not be like drinking it. I can attest to that, since sometimes I get no effect from it.. But occasionally I do get a 'buzz' or over stimulated feeling... But it's never like drinking it. Last time I drank green tea (very little caffeine content), I was jittery and totally buzzed.. But the coffee enemas don't even come close to how the green tea effected me.. The green tea was MUCH worse, to the point I felt completely unable to do anything until it wore off.. With the coffee enema, I was still functional.
Excess estrogen gets filtered by the liver and exit the body via the bowels. so anything that helps these 2 can help bring down estrogen levels.
The issue then would be helping your body to produce the balancing hormones. My body was having trouble doing this. (the balancing hormones for you, would be testosterone and helping prevent it from turning into estrogen. For women, it's progesterone and to a lesser amount, testosterone)
For hormones, my doctor has me on an amino acid mix that helps my body naturally produce more of certain hormones, so it can be balanced. He does 3 products, that he chooses from to best fit each client. I'm on o-tropin by orenda international (he sells all the products almost at-cost) I really like the o-tropin.
Do you use high quality butter & coconut oil? Cholesterol is VITAL for hormone production. Mine was actually low when I got it tested.. (way too low) cholesterol is a whole nother subject, if your curious. Watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=awA2fsa94MI&feature=youtube_gdata_player
I wouldn't completely write dairy off. (but I think it's fine your not having any) If you come across some really good high quality stuff, like Raw, grass-fed, try it if you feel up to it. Sometimes it helps when you expand your diet after being so limited for a long time. :-)
(both mentally & physically.. Mentally feeling freer with diet tends to make you feel less stressed.. Thats what I've noticed recently.)
Overall I want to encourage you. I'm so happy that your working towards getting better, the natural way. I know how hard it is to revamp your diet.. Then revamp your diet, over and over again. It's really hard digging through all the dogma & crazies..
Here's one of my favorite health teachers, very encouraging and fun to listen to. Daniel Vitalis: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RwNMreagPzM&feature=youtube_gdata_player
I hope I didn't throw too much info at you, it's alot to sort through.
