Re: About to perform first liver flush. My story and reaching out for much needed advice/insights
I bet the flushes will help you but remember that you've been poisoning yourself for years and years so don't get disappointed or discouraged if the positive results take a while to show up. My first flush made me feel worse, probably because of all those stored toxins being released, but they soon began to make an improvement. I just did my 10th and I know they're not over (and I didn't even have a very unhealthy lifestyle, but I am a lot older than you). My symptoms were fatigue, back pain, brain fog, soreness in hips and back. All gone now, I'm happy to say, though I know I still have cleansing to do.
One thing I learned about from these boards is the Herxheimer effect (sp?) where healing actually makes you feel worse. I wonder if your extreme symptoms in the morning are because your body has been hard at work trying to heal overnight and it's not ready to snap out of it and let you get on with other activities. THat's a wild guess. I don't have a similar experience. My feet used to be really sore first thing in the morning, and I knew that was some kind of toxic healing thing. Much better now.
You might also try
juicing (if you're not already), just to increase the level of nutrients you're getting. Ginger really helped me snap out of the brain fog, it was a magical ingredient for me. Reading about ayurveda helped me as I realised my doshas were out of whack and ginger helped rebalance me. I don't even need it any more as I am balanced now. Depending on your body type and imbalances there may be some other ingredients that will help you.
OMG on the aluminium foil. I'm going to give my kids a stern lecture about trying crazy things today!
