I have quinoa here and there and eat tiny fish servings. A salmon steak that would be on a menu at a restaurant, I split up for 3 days within a week and really the other 4 is just vegetables. It's in the freezer. There is protein in almonds and avocados. I am careful not to overdo it and be on a high protein diet Vegetable or not. If someone eliminates Sugar and carbs, where do they get calories? there's not much else but leafs and steak.
