Making tea with distilled....


Another question just popped into my head.

I just realized when you simmer water to make teas, aren't you absorbing elements from the pan or pot or whatever? Any metal like steel would distribute metal molecules into the water, and with glass containers lead and other toxic substances is a problem.

How on earth do you heat distilled water without absorbing any unwanted stuff??
