No offense, but....

No offense, MH, since I respect your opinions.

But is there any proof that distilled water is better than natural spring water? In my way of thinking, the natural spring water is closest to what nature wanted us to drink. Tribal people and our ancestors in the past drank from fresh springs, not from the sky. Even assuming you drink from the sky, rain water doesn't compare to distilled water since rain absorbs natural compounds and minerals from the atmosphere. By the time it reaches us it's saturated.

I'm not condemning distilled water, but I would like some scientific evidence to back up support. I wouldn't like to risk my health just because people 'say' distilled water is good. You tell us not to blindly follow any health advice, especially from people who debunk all alternative medicine.

By the same token, I'd like a litle more information before I blindly follow the advice given by anonymous people on the boards here.

So other than anecdotes about 'feeling' better on distilled water, does anyone have proof to back up the distilled water issue? Like blood mineral level tests, bone density tests, etc?

P.S. About the the distillers.....Isn't it possible that all the gunk from distillers would also be visible with a really good filtration system? Has anyone tried looking at filter results?
