Do you think I did a real dumb thing to have let this infection develop? I felt kind of embarrassed at the ER and I may be wrong but they seemed to look at me as if I did a stupid thing by touching the wound and then not using a triple anti biotic cream on it, or garlic or something to kill the bacteria before I bandaged it up for another day. I created a perfect breeding ground for bacteria to develop, and it did, but it may be on the mend now.

As long as it doesn't get any bigger [the infection], I should be OK in a few days. I'll sure be glad to see the infection fade away.
