Re: The War against Dientamoeba fragilis

Thisland,

I still feel sick to this day. The photographed results of my last test are give in the "What are these things" post on this forum. It appears that they may be amoebic cysts. I haven't found D. Fragilis in a while, so I'm not sure what course to take on that. I'm glad you had some relief, at least. I seem to have small periods of few symptoms, but they've always returned. I'm going to go have some other tests done, such as a celiac panel and perhaps other autoimmune markers and maybe a parasites and ova exam, although I've had these before. I'm going to try another doctor this time, and if they aren't agreeable, I'll but the tests outright from "Any Lab Test Now" in Scottdale. We'll see then.

Until then, life is a perpetual hell, but at least it doesn't seem quite as extreme as it was in the beginning. I wonder if that's because the symptoms are slightly subdued, or if I'm just getting used to them. :p
