That's terrible, Susan. I'm very sorry that you're having to deal the way you are. It does seem that common physicians are easily stumped. You have seen http://www.badbugs.org,
have you not? I never had a huge problem with my bowels, although they've burned and I experienced shooting pains now and then. Diarrhea and soft stools is as far as that went, but some other people with D. Fragilis and Blastocystis Hominis have had much worse luck, so check that out. Whoever has tested you is obviously missing something. Stool fixative and the proper stains are important; that's why I did it all myself this time. Otherwise, I'd like to know what the hell the Indian doctor is talking about regarding IV treatments for 2 months... Flagyl isn't all that effective against certain microbes these days, and yes, yours may very well be resistant. Take a look at that page and see what you think. I'll be here to hear ya.
