Sounds like you had a lot of the symptoms I had. You might be hypothyroid type 2(HT2). You should take your basal(resting) temperature. First thing in the morning, put a glass thermometer ($10 at Walgreens/CVS) in you underarm for 10 minutes. If you are less then 97.6 you could be HT2. If you sleep with tons of cloths, blankets and hat (like I did) you need to take most of that off and put on only what a "normal" person would use about an hour or two before you get up.
Dr. Mark Starr has a great book called "Hypothyroidism Type 2." You can get a used copy cheap. I bought that, Lugol'sIodine and dessicated thyroid off the internet. Most of my symptoms have resolved or greatly improved.
Here's the radio interview that helped me self-diagnose after 9.5 years of suffering. Thank you, Lord!
BTW, according to Dr. Starr, HT2 is genetic and usually passed on by the mother. My mother has been cold all her life with signs of myxedema, too. Every time I have ever had my temperature taken I was always low. I can't believe my doctor never put 1 and 1 together (chronic fatigue + low temp ).
