My digestion "is good, according to my good recent bloodwork"

Hi,

I asked my NMD recently if he thought I should take plant enzymes or/and pancreatin and he told me no and that my digestion "is good, according to my good recent bloodwork". Yet I don't absorb things. I'm deficient in magnesium and haven't the Mg capacity to jog a mile at a time like I could do in the 80s, I've taken 800 mg of Mg Malate every day, and have used Mg oil, Epsom Salt baths, I've even had Mg injections via the IV Meyer's Cocktail.

In Nov '09 I flew from here to Charlotte NC and then on to Seattle, literally crossing the USA to see a woman about help with Mercury chelating. That turned out to be a real waste of my time and money, and I'm not rich or anything like it. She was very nice on the phone and in email, but seemed to turn on me when I got there. She was an ARNP that turned to alternative medicine and wanted to put me on all kinds of new and expensive supplements, many of which she happened to have for sale right there [of which I did NOT buy any of]. I got back to TN and didn't follow any of her advice except for taking Golden Seal, Uva Ursi, and Grapefruit-Seed-Extract for my chronic dysbiosis, which, [with a positive attitude] had about as much effect as a snowball in hell. I already had tons of supps hanging around and I just didn't want to buy any more and probably have more unused supps / wasted money. There's GOT to be a better way. That's not healing. If that's what my life has to be like, I think I'd rather die. So, this way of real healing looks a lot more encouraging to me. I realize it'll be a necessary investment but I hope it's one I can afford.

I also flew to Seattle in 1986 from Boston MA to see a holistic MD, and that also set me back about $1300 IIRR, and I didn't get a good feeling about seeing him either. Talk about a good way to burn a hole in my pocket. I didn't think he was very nice to me. I read his book and thought he could help me but he didn't seem to do a lot but call me a few weeks later and tell me my pancreatic function was at 65% of what it should be. [!?!?!] He did one of two Heidelberg Gastric Analysis tests I've had and told me I had Hypochlorhydria and put me on 5 to 7 HCl capsules before each meal, and B12 shots for B12 deficiency. One $300 test he did was inconclusive due to an error his people made, and he refused to have the test repeated at no cost to me.

I've seen holistic type MDs in at least 9 states : NH, VT, MA, CT, NY, WA, VA, TN, NC and I've consulted with them in CA, OR, and maybe others.

Joe
