I don't think I had more pep on eating vegan diet. I improved at first because I'd eaten the SAD diet up until 1981 or so, but after that I ate animal proteins sporadically and was up and down like a yo-yo for many years. Actually, animal proteins may have helped to ground me. I'm afraid to give up all animal proteins. My animal protein breakfasts each day seem the THE best way I could start a day. I'm very hesitant of starting the day with a starch like oats or barley as some herbal / vegan doctors recommend. This sounds like an incomplete meal for my body, especially right now. Salmon may be a band aid solution but it seems like a good solution for me to use food as medicine at this time.
Anyone feels better at first if they move to all raw vegan because it's cleansing, but my question is, does that good feeling stay or fade away for a blood type O? I'll have to cross that bridge when I get to it. I'm not discounting the idea but I'll have to be taught some things.
I was reading about a lady named Susan Schenk that ate all vegan for 7 years and got ill and went back to animal proteins. She wrote at least 2 books.
