Re: Paavo Airola about hypoglycemia
Joe,
My calling is to teach the works of the healers I have researched to have consistently and effectively cured the most people of the most insidious & compromising diseases. I've done my best to combine their protocols by keeping the things they all had in common and throwing out the 'loose threads' where they differed (or used chemicals or isolates with the potential to cause harm, that could be replaced with something more natural & safe).
(Btw, since mood & emotions do not come across well on a monitor, I want you to know their is ZERO anger or frustration in my voice right now - just plain & simple 'I want to make sure I'm being understood clearly' kind of communication).
I do not say, and have NEVER SAID that anyone needs to be strictly vegan for their entire lifetime to maintain their health....although Schulze has said that. What I have said is that Gerson/Schulze/Christopher (and several others) required their patient be vegan during the "healing phase", along with their complete healing/cleansing protocol. And the reasons they had for not ingesting meat or dairy (Gerson allowed fermented dairy in the form of yogurt) has very little to do with things that have been discussed in this thread.
I do my best to share 10+ years of research, knowledge and how it all works together with those that want to learn, understand and consider it or apply it. You have to do what you feel is right for you, NOT what I think is right for you.
I've always assumed the reason I can't find all the details about all of the patients of these great healers is 1) confidentiality laws 2) many had records destroyed in their clinic raids by the PTB 3) Many didn't keep the records like doctors do now.
Once you see all the information I'm 2/3 finished compiling for you, you'll have more to consider & assimilate (one of the several reasons why it's taking so long for me to compile the info is because I keep seeing more new posts from you with new and different questions & concerns). So I keep 'redoing' and 'editing' so I can do my best to include all the information you seem to be seeking in something other than a random/scattered form.
If you decide you want to eat meat and dairy and do the cleanses based on all the information (new & old) that you've gathered, read and what you've experienced, then do that. You certainly won't be the first person that has...and I'm not going to come after you with some kind of Uny-whip and give you 40 lashes! I can't guarantee outcomes, positive or negative, and neither can any body else. The only thing I can do is provide you the information that I've amassed for your consideration - it's up to you to make your own decisions and come to your own conclusions.
The one thing I can be relatively sure of is that when we're compromised, it is VERY DIFFICULT to know if a certain diet or supplement is just "masking & bandaiding" the symptoms of compromise, or if it's really helping & healing. If we keep doing what we've always done, we're going to continue getting what we've always gotten....so many times we HAVE to step out a bit past our "safety zone" so we can experience something to know whether it works or not for us. I have never suggested you disregard everything you know and have experienced...in fact, when you posted that you were convinced that being vegan was "the thing", I *immediately* posted and advised you not make a radical change in your diet that quickly. Remember?
As far as the protein issue, Gerson's diet/protocol provided 50-70 grams of protein daily (a bit more if one chose to eat the yogurt). With the nutritional yeast in the Superfood and high levels of protein from bee pollen, you're adding 10-30 more grams daily. After you read the data on this, if you want to add MORE protein and you feel it won't compromise the plan you've decided is right for you, then... squiggle-wriggle, cluck-cluck, moo-moo, grunt-snort (pig), baa-baa, or even woof-woof...CHOW DOWN.
I'm not the Great & Powerful Oz, nor am I the "Healing Sheriff of Curezone"...the information and protocols I suggest aren't even mine. I'm just somebody has the clarity of mind and common sense to recognize and learn about what has been successful in the past, and not discard it for the newest and latest 'healing concept' that comes along. Dr. Christopher's protocol reversed blindness & deafness; regrew withered foot/leg from polio; regrew vertebrae in the spine of a woman where it had been eaten away by bone cancer. Gerson regularly knocks out cancer and a myriad of other 'incurables'. Schulze beat ALS, Alzheimers, Parkinsons, MD (a poster on the forum had MD and did the 'combined IP' about "1/2 strength" and was able in a couple of months to show major signs of not only stopping the progression, but reversing the damage), and so on. I've yet to see ANY evidence that any of the protocols or diets mentioned in this thread have ever yielded that caliber of results...and if someone has stories or testimonies, I'd certainly LOVE to see them. Until someone can show me that other protocols and methodologies are more successful, then I'm sticking with "tried and true" rather than "new & improved".
Tried & true? Hmmmm....
And that's all I've got for now - I'm off to get some sleep!
Cheers and very healthy blessings rightbackatcha :)
Uny
P.S. Those are GREAT picture of your kitties you just posted!
