I don't believe this is what creates the energy since coffee enema which is limited to the sigmoid colon is not supposed to allow any caffeine into the system. But it does stimulate the liver to pump bile and to release toxins, and i believe the energy FastingAnne is experiencing comes from this.

I like the coffee enema and i too use them when juicing. A few months back i had asked chrisb1 about taking coffee enemas while in a Water Fast and he recommended against it. I don't remember the reasons exactly, but it had something to do with certain minerals getting greatly taxed, something ill afforded in a water-only fast, but fine when juicing.
