Re: and one must wonder...
Many nutritional factors are immune system modulators...
A vitamin, mineral, protein, carb, or fat\oil can be both good, or bad... dependent upon the *individual's* constitution that dictates THAT individual's need... which, includes all the necessary cofactors of the nutrient(s) in question.
In other words you may have a need for vitamin *K*, while I get more than I need through my diet... and should back off.
A brief bit of research on both hypo, or hyper anything from minerals to vitamins, can reveal that both hyper, and hypo conditions of the same nutrient can produce similar\identical symptoms.
It is why people sometimes find noticeable, beneficial benefit at the beginnings of a nutritional therapy... eventually plateau, and then start feeling worse again as they begin to over dose.
It is why people tend to run in circles with nutrition and diet decisions as well... trying to find the magic formula or missing *supplement*.
To address another piece of your rants... there are many more beneficial microorganisms, including virus, than pathogenic, which work for, and with us in order to keep us alive... just as there are beneficial parasites that do the same.
I know you *THINK* you know what you are doing... but do you?
The best course of action is to create a healthy body terrain through high quality foods and lifestyle, that then will support the good guys and discourage the bad.
