Re: It isn't the motive I question, it is the effect
"Mira, I'm trying hard not to reply to you in an attempt to not make this forum all about us. If you would like to argue with me, I would think it would be courteous and respectful to do it 'off' the forum. You can simply send me a private message."
--You're replying to my posts, but you're not responding to the questions I ask. It's a put-down to say that I'm trying to make it all about us--plus it's a judgmental statement about me. I don't wish to argue with you, I'm just trying to make this a more civil place where we can stay on topic. I have no ill will toward you. If you don't wish to answer my questions, that's fine, we can end this thread here and now.
"Something tells me that isn't what your intent is though. Its almost as if you're being instructed as to what to write, and how to write it. Do you have a favorite mentor here?"
--129589, I see these statements as put-downs insinuating that I can't think for myself, that I'm easily manipulated, and that I follow instructions from a "mentor". I can assure you, I'm not part of any shadowy group, I have no mentor, I think for myself, and there are no back-room machinations going on.
Furthermore, you continue to question my intentions rather than respond to the content of my posts:

Therefore, I don't see much point in continuing this conversation.
Peace and Blessings,
