Re: your thoughts on water fasting for "maintenance", considering the environmental load these days...

thank you for sharing thoughts Chris,

good to hear. And for those without a loving partner, or who have renounced that life, sometimes theirs is the whole world. Natural Hygiene is a wonderfully well-rounded way of living, isn't it? Really, when you take it all into balance, it's in complete accord with what the great Masters taught, and teach.

12 days twice annually, eh? This is Shelton's take? Interesting. sounds good.

I hope people reading this thread will give thought to their reasons for water fasting, and examine whether they might be falling into the compulsive trap of over-fasting, (which does tend to suggest not taking the teachings of Natural Hygiene as a whole 'on board'.) So many people seem to come to Water Fasting in desperation (and with the quick-fix mind--which I totally understand, given the psychological and physiological *effects* of the SAD and so on...

anyway, best to all.

Chiron.
