ANIMATION is just another technique for making series and movies - anything from kiddy shite to LotR-esque fantasy to Requiem for a Dream-style crazy/dark to hardcore pron :)

...as to free MOVIES online, nope, no such thing, not legally anyways.

Series, though - lots of em, even through 100% legitimate sources! For everyone in the US, check out hulu.com (bastards ban non-US ip addresses though). It will make you watch like literally 60 seconds or so of commercials per hour, but otherwise, it's like free season DVDs of lots of of series, and sometimes even in better-than-DVD quality!

(for a decent viewing experience w/ online content legal or otherwise, hook up an HDTV and a home theatre or stereo system to your computer!)


PS imho, movies are overrated anyway. They're good if you're employed, active and busy, with lots of things you want to see and no time to see them all... but if you're crashed out on the couch all day every day feeling rather miserable, looking for new movies to watch is a ROYAL pain in the ass... You'll run out of really good ones in like 2 weeks, and afterwards, even when you find something every once in a while, it's still like what, 90 to 150 minutes of decent stuff, after having watched crap on the last 5-10 attempts? Meanwhile, with a good series, it might take you half a day to find one - but then you're set for the next 20-100+ *hours*... :) Tweet
