I guess I'm just reluctant because I've tried so many supplements and natural approaches to no avail. I'm just beginning to utilize cognitive therapy, so I am very excited about this approach, and I guess I neglected to mention that I had untreated Depression for about 5 years and suffered from a pretty severe eating disorder/agoraphobia for a while as well. I am in the process of truly committing to recovery for the first time so I'm not thinking about the meds as a permanent solution, just as something to ease the physical symptoms that I'm having and for the winter months when it's at its worst. I have responded positively to antidepressants in the past, but I didn't stick to them because I didn't really care about getting better. I really appreciate your help and I will look into your solutions, particularly iodine, as I continue to try healing this. Thank you so much for understanding.
