I disagree.

The problem is not with chlorine dioxide products, but with the high concentration and dangerous to handle Miracle-Mineral-Supplement solution, and the flawed Miracle-Mineral-Supplement protocol.

I have had wonderful success using various chlorine dioxide based solutions, and have seen impressive health improvements as well. None of these involved applications following the flawed Miracle-Mineral-Supplement protocol, and after having first hand experience with the dangers involved with high concentrations of sodium chlorite, we have had wonderful success using a safe to handle concentration solution.

In addition, you can find anecdotal reports from a lot of others that report improvements as they start out following the MMS protocol. Then they go downhill as they continue, but some figure out that the protocol is flawed and are able to regain some of their lost health.

I don't think there is anyone suggesting that chlorine dioxide and its disinfection by products are immediately lethal at the doses involved, but there are no studies evaluating the long term effects. The water purification studies went far enough to demonstrate that really high concentrations are lethal, and that high concentrations over a long period of time are damaging, but they were using a different method of chlorine dioxide generation.

The one person that claims to have been following the MMS protocol for an extended period of time is Jim Humble. I am not sure what exact protocol he is currently on, but when I see him on the various videos I notice that he is suffering from the early stages of memory laps. I am wondering if this is being brought on by the oxidative damage due to the extended use of MMS, or simply by old age...

Perhaps the long term effects need to be looked at a little closer.
