Can you picture JeSuS going to a slaughterhouse and hanging a cow upside down and slitting it's throat? Really.. sit back for a moment and imagine Jesus kissing his wife and kids good bye before he goes off to work. He dons his bluejean overalls, hops in his pickup truck, and drives off to the slaughterhouse. There, he flays chickens, cows, and pigs all day long. Well, you eating meat is consciously supporting slaughterhouses, consciously supporting these businesses. Unless you are totally homeless, without money, and living the True Gospel Way, buying meat is against compassion and charity and kindness.

We are INSTRUCTED to eat meat? No... let's look at Romans 14:21, "And it is not good to eat meat or drink wine or to do anything that makes your brother stumble."

HMMM...

If you look at early christianity, most of the hermits were vegetarians.

Do what you want. But I urge you, try one month with no meat, then try one month with it, and tell me the difference you feel in your soul.
