Re: strongly disagree with plant based diets

Hi,

I'm not concerned with God and the bible. I just think we should eat sensibly, have a varied diet with plenty of veg and fruit but we should also eat a bit of everything without exceeding.

I also think that eating is very much a matter of culture and socialization.

I live in a place where people eat quite well and like cooking. And so do I.

I can imagine that eating row food, veg and nuts I would live longer, but what life would be that? I don't think I would have many people queuing out of my place for a nuts based dinner.

Not to mention all that junk meaty-fake flavoured food such as vegetarian chicken flavoured burghers and stuff like that, which seem to appeal to many vegans and vegetarians.

I'm interested in fasting and a healthy diet. But also I'm interested in enjoying my life, and food is part of that enjoyment.

I hope not to become a fundamentalist of fasting or other obsessive behaviours and habits.

Stef.
