Another misleading statement. A few bacteria generate acids. The vast majority of bacteria though generate alkaline substances such as alkaline phosphatase, ammonia and amines.

In fact, according to what Moreless is claiming hydrogen peroxide would not be able to kill pathogenic bacteria. Hydrogen peroxide is very stable in an acidic pH environment. This is why acid stabilizers are added to store bought 3% peroxide. For example phosphoric acid and sodium thiosulfate. Hydrogen peroxide is rapidly broken down in an alkaline environment though. The peroxide must decompose in order to kill the bacteria as it is the singlet oxygen released during the decomposition that kills the bacteria. So if Moreless was right then the acids released from the bacteria would stabilize the peroxide, rather than decompose it, preventing the destruction of the bacteria.
