That's a good question.
The "Cannon" was a very well protected "vessel".
Many of the well respected translaters of the Bible remain anonymous.
This was to give respect to the "Grand Author" and not themselves.
However, many of the authors/pages that did not get put into "final print" were omitted for several reasons. (all apply)
1. The writings did not support the rest of the Bible. It is harmonious. For example..The Most % of scripts/scrolls found that were authentic in age and history supported each other and were in agreement. (Others were not and were in total contridiction...(5%?)
2.Marriage and sex (confined within) is highly approved by God. (He even offers advice and rules) *Writings were found that disputed marriage and suggested celibacy for everyone and/or had suggestive homosexual writings....(Rem. who is the ruler of the world and has the power to blind everyone) 1 John 19..2 Corin 4:4...2 Corin 11:14
3.Accuracy and proof of family history and suggested "self proclammation" over the Divine Author was evident.
These are the only ones I am aware of.
