The whole truth and nothing but the Truth, so help me God.
[[[I admit the idea is a bit "abstract," but such is our God, beyond human understanding. The same reason why He gave us the Bible so that we may understand Him. One cannot dismiss His Word, and claim to be "of Christ." This idea is contradictory.]]]
I am not a scholar of text like you guys, I am one, like many that read parts of the Bible that give me enough insight through an interpretation that comes from my heart/spirit rather than perhaps a preacher/teacher to open my self to believe and trust in God in a spiritual sense.

#20928 Quote:-"He gave us the Bible"
What exactly does that mean? If one has to believe that what you quote and engross all in it's entirety because it's God's word and no stone is left unturned then we haven't been given all the stones as Books of the Bible were canonized through mainly Christianity and Judaism as authoritative text beginning in the second century BCE.
Believers consider these canonical books to be inspired by God or to express the authoritative history of the relationship between God and his people.
So in effect some Books of the Apostles were left out and some were classed as heretical etc.etc....
Now the point being is, were Books (canonized) God's Word and the non-canonized NOT God's words although some were supposedly written by Apostles?
Thankyou,it would be interesting to know your views.
