I agree but it's like when my daughter came home from school and told me that someone was picking on her and said they wanted to fight her. I gave her a choice...stand up for herself and win the fight but realize that she would go to the principles office if she chose to do so.

Or, try and resolve the conflict in a peaceful manner and set an example for that person.

Or course she knew she would have to fight if a punch came her way...we all have to decide when to protect ourselves but God doesn't need protecting. How small we must see Him in our minds if we think we have to attack people with our words and actions to protect Him.

Jesus may have rebuked the pharisees but he also didn't waste His time with them afterwards.

I respected vektek, whether it was you or your husband behind that user name. It really doesn't matter. You showed a good heart and I listened to you. There is no need to defend Christianity by cutting off ML's ear with a sword.

Choose to set the example with love and the Truth will shine like the Son.
