Re: Vektek, define Legalism, please
Christ... that is where you lost me... it is where most "Christians" lose me... it seems to be the Christian calling card for exclusive rights into "God's" kingdom... it is not, never has been, and never will be... it is one of the most profound, taught/learned deceptions of church teachings.
One does not have to be a believer in Christ, or be a Christian to realize God's kingdom.
One who has "tried" hard and has worked to respect God's law is good to go no matter what their faith or belief system... Even an atheist.
Obeying God's law is much easier said than done as most have no idea what that is as evidenced by your own views along with many others.
No matter what our faith or belief system, we are all sinners against God's law, period. Most all people today have been taught and raised into a life against God's Law... sin, that we sincerely believe is not sin at all... just modern accepted life, created by man's manipulative delusions.
If you cannot see that, you are truly blind.
No, I will not explain it all to you. I am not up for the debate/argument, that will likely have us both gnashing teeth...
You will become aware of this when you accept FULL responsibility for yourself and actions, cease in the judging\accusing of others, admit ALL of your sins to YOURSELF fully, and then sincerely forgive yourself and "work" towards change for the better, if and when that time ever comes.
Arguing over scripture meanings is pointless... most everyone has it all wrong having been "told" or "taught" what it all "means"; brainwashed since they were babies, instead of thinking it through for themselves having studied Christianity's violent history including the politics behind it.
There are some good sites out there that can be researched to get you going into independent thinking including the Skeptic's Bible, Skeptic's Book of Mormon, and the Skeptic's Qu'ran among others. The scriptural contradictions and absurdities should all give you pause...
