Why do you need to label what happened?
All that will do is put unfitting social description to it.
What matters most is exactly what happened, and you don't need a generalized term, like rape, to label it with...especially something so negatively connotated.
It happened, you both felt regret immediately. He didn't fight that he did something wrong, he cried about it. If you two think you can get past this by talking about it, then do that. Don't break up and go around telling people you broke up because he raped you, he probably doesn't deserve that.
Point is, you don't need to label it. You don't need to ask other people if they think it fits a somewhat vague definition. You know what happened, he knows what happened. It's between the two of you to make sure it doesn't happen again.
