Re: the MODERATORS
Loosie,
I'm afraid you have totally misunderstood my post and position so I shall try to clarify this for you.
My decision to contemplate leaving or resigning from curezone was based ONLY on the premise that my position as moderator was being undermined, in that if someone is banned from this forum, then that decision should be upheld, and where if that person returns immediately under a different guise/username then that is clearly flouting that decision, and flouting the rules: that is all.
It is not a question of "taking sides" as you call it: taking sides with whom? and for what? I may ask.
Returning as a "member-only" does not "save face" and is basically an admission of defeat and or weakness of a mod's role in my view.
I would also agree with you: I do not need to be a moderator to help or advise people, and where I haven't got "my knickers in a twist" as you call it, but if anyone undermines the position of any moderator, then that is a justified reason to resign and/or abandon this role unless their decisions are abided by.
I also do not see the role of mod' as someone in "authority" or as someone else referred to as a position of "power", but more as a role of someone who attempts to oversee fairness and equality for all.
However, there is no "smoke without fire" and where I have not attempted to "fan the flames" of debate either, but merely to correct erroneous views that are misleading to members generally and are not supported or endorsed by the consensus of opinion within the annals of fasting and Natural Hygiene generally.
I think that your choice of words such as the above and "gathering the troops for battle" by themselves are inflammatory and provocative, and are not conducive to cordial relations between members; I suggest that you refrain from using them in future for this very reason.

Chrisb1.
