Re: Attention everyone..Re: But also let those who are banned remain so.....
#106535,
to clarify this misconception..........
What you perceive as me "attacking and arguing with people" is an erroneous viewpoint.
What you are actually referring to are my replies to posts that are factually incorrect, and where I have endeavored to point this out to the poster concerned. This should not be construed as "attacking" and/or "arguing".
I am also not prepared to stand idly by, whether as a member or a moderator, and allow a poster to spread misconceptions and fallacies concerning a
Water Fast that other readers could take on board, and lead them away or deter them from what is after all an extremely beneficial and wondrous process of nature.
Just one case in point: you stated on one of your original posts that (and I quote verbatim) "fasting is a cause of eating disorders" rather than the truth of this misinterpretation which is that "ED's are a cause of fasting and/or low calorie/restrictive diets" and where the ensuing anorexia(loss of appetite) is or shouldn't be confused with the term anorexia nervosa (loss of appetite induced by psychological/emotional/psychiatric reasons.
There is definite demarcation point between the two processes and where the former is of distinct benefit and the latter not so.
It is one thing to "disagree" with a posters subject-matter and post a reply containing an altogether different viewpoint based on facts, and where this would be endorsed by a virtual consensus of opinion from health professionals, and where I would usually corroborate this with copy/pasting from the annals of Natural Hygiene and fasting literature generally to support these views. This is done by way of encouragement to everyone that this is not just my own opinion, but an opinion based on the vast experience of others, whether professional or laypersons.
If you have perceived my replies to your posts as of an "attacking nature" then you are mistaken as this was not my intention, and where I apologize to you personally if that was how you perceived them, but I will admit to joining in the chorus of disapproval against the "tone" of your posts, where the language you used was neither acceptable or warranted.
I shall reconsider my position with regard to resigning as long as your future posts remain within the acceptable realms of civility and are posted within the
TOS and rules of Curezone. This applies to everyone and where I would include myself in that assessment.
I totally agree with mouseclicks post within this thread re' the Webmasters post concerning anonymity for mod's, but I have always thought that within a democratic forum such as this, there should be a high degree of transparency throughout, and where I had no qualms about revealing my identity either as a member or moderator.
Personally, I have nothing to hide.
