Re: How Much Is Too Much?
Hi Loosie.
Religion started when man lost his ability to control matter and thus started to feel insecure for the first time.
At least be honest with yourself Louise, the reason you were nasty is plain to see.
Take care sweet soul.
“The pleasant, shady woods of modern times are nothing like the forests of those days, which were alive, and not just with trees and squirrels, bracken, maidenhair, and sprouting acorns. The old green world was alive in its leafy soul. A forest then was one great breathing creature that felt everything. It felt the nervous tread of the royal stag that no one was permitted to hunt under the king’s ban. It felt the hatching of a cuckoo egg and the pitiful cries of baby warblers when the cuckoo chick pitched them out of their nest. It felt the slow creeping growth of the thick moss that carpeted every moist space like a velvety, verdant shawl.” – DC
At least when the forest was felt to have a soul, the forest was treated with respect. Of course it was just that we were in touch with our own heart.
