The concept of religion, originally used to control society through fear, has become a coping mechanism for the masses to explain the unknown.

In the future the belief of god will be laughed upon, just as we now laugh at how people thought the sun was a god in his chariot of fire.

The only reason I made a nasty comment is because praying to god while swallowing food is not only insane but quite desperate and reveals that humans really are stupid. People can believe what they want but I was just trying to put things into perspective.
