for those who believe it, God is omnipotent and therefore capable of anything.
I personally think that Raines post was quite revealing and helpful in a spiritual way, which is relevant to our forum.

It is also not that surprising to find that in times of extreme adversity and a possible life-threatening situation, people who do not believe will call on their God to save them from their fate and/or predicament.

I for one believe in a God and a benevolent Creator, but am not affiliated to any particular religion and where prayer has been demonstrated to have a very favorable effect.
