Re: Water fasting for detox or weight loss, which one are we??? Fasting for weight loss that way (points to the left)
Hi Fasting2goal,
In the last couple of days I have had my share of confrontation, and believe me when I say that was not my intention and I don't like it.
I know your question was an innocent one and has gotten out of hand just like a question I asked got out of hand I'm sorry to see this happening again.
Here are my two cents worth. I would point out Mouseclick, I do believe his reason for fasting was weight loss, I'm sure if I'm wrong he will comment. The point I'm trying to make is this and I don't want you in any way to misunderstand, Mouseclick has lost loads of weight and reaped the health benefits along with it. He is now a valued contributor to this forum and I have learned so very much from his posts. That being said, I feel we are very lucky indeed that he didn't start posting on the fasting for weight loss forum because those of us that only come to the
Water Fasting forum would have missed out on his insightful and often witty posts.
I came here for both reasons; to break my horrible addiction to junk food and achieve a healthier lifestyle, but also to lose weight. Since joining this forum I have found many more health benefits than I was aware of through people like Chris and Mouseclick. If I would have gone to the fasting for weight loss forum I wouldn't have learned about all the added health benefits. This forum has prompted me to research water only fasting which wouldn't have happened on the fasting for weight loss forum and I am more grateful for that than I can say, I'm much better informed than I was and am looking forward to starting my fast.
I don't mean any disrespect at all, I wish you all the best with your fasting, and I know you have reaped the benefit of weight lose too, which to you is an added benefit.
Have a blessed day.
