i absolutely agree. sure being fat is a huge problem, but sometimes i feel like were at overeaters anonymous. it seems to me pretty selfish when a person bust in and the first thing they post is HOW MUCH WIEGHT WILL I LOSE IF I FAST ? and thats the last time we here from them. or it goes on for 2 days and theyre back eating a box of twinkies and a gallon of chocolate milk at a sitting.

i always thought this forum was for more advance things, and people thinking a little deeper than their outward appearance. of course, i could be wrong.

let me clear this up. i am not saying that somebody fasting for wieght loss shouldnt be here. i am not saying i dont want someone fasting for wieght loss here. i am simply commenting on the way some people in the past(and they are no longer here) came to the furom having nothing else in mind, not their health not anything other than get skinny. they had no desire to read anything, get educated, pretty much they had no regard for their own well being and/or health. they continue to smoke and do all sorts of stuff to themselves. i find that to be a waste of not only my own, but everyone heres time.

we have people right now fasting for weight loss, and are doing wonderful work. they are not only fasting but they are actively learning more and more on the subject, from what im reading of their post they also understand that they need to change the lifestyle also. how do we not praise that kind of work and commitment ? they are the people that bring so much to the forum, with their updates and little stories its what inspires all of us.
