Re:
My sentiment is that in many cases the body wants to eliminate toxins but the usual routes such as via kidney/urinary bladder, and liver / bowel are compromised,
and as a result the body tries to push various toxins out through the skin.
When it pushes those toxins out to the outer layers of the skin, some of the toxins concentrate in pockets and cause imbalances in the local chemistry, which shifts the pH levels (in tiny local areas) and , such alterations of terrain, favor bacterial colonies having compositions that differ from those normally present, resulting in overpopulation by undesirable bacterium / forms, which the body interprets as infections and sends white cells to combat the infections. This results in accumulation of "pus" which the body encapsulates via its normal encapsulation mechanism using fibrin. That makes it clear that having adequate stores of chymotrypsin or dissolution of the fibrin is essential towards clearing up symptoms which appear as "acne". So it can be dealt with after the fact by ensuring adequate enzyme presence, and also ensuring the body has adequate amounts of the building blocks of collagen which are ascorbate, proline, and lysine, making it further clear that regular ingestion of high quality protein is essential.
