To show moderate levels of mercury in a hair test indicates that you are either having a ongoing exposure to mercury, or beginning to release mercury from storage sites. TMA is not very accurate for testing true body stores of toxic metals, but can provide a picture of what is going on w/ metals. It is more reliable in measuring needed minerals such as magnesium etc.

You are definately having some adrenal issues (poor adrenal function, adrenal insuffiency) as marked by low sodium and potassium. Low sodium and potassium will create phobias, Depression and paranoia (sp). Did they give any recommendations for supplementation for the adrenal issue?

Magnesium is low and magnesium is absolutely vital for immune, nervous and adrenal support. Magnesium can be blocked by toxic metals such as mercury. Magnesium oxide is basically worthless, avoid this.

Copper levels appear to be low ... zinc to copper ratios are important. Copper is very necessary for many immune functions. Copper is antagonized by mercury.

Proper mercury detox is very important. Naturopath4you.com has some very good info on natural chelators. DMSA is a RX only item, however a product called captomer (sp) is available w/o a rx. Stool testing for parasites is a very hit or miss test. So a negative really does not mean much.
